- Bison RecWell will be 关闭 on the following days: September 3 - 4 (Labor Day Weekend), November 19 - 27 (Thanksgiving Holiday), December 17 (Fall Commencement), 21 - January 1 (Christmas Break / New Year Holiday), April 7 - 9 (Good Friday / Easter), May 19 (Spring Commencement), May 27 - 29 (Memorial Day Weekend).
- Bison RecWell will apply alternative hours to the following days: October 20 -23 (Fall Free Days), December 12 - 15 (Final Exams), 19-22 (Winter Break), January 2 - 25 (J-Term), and 14 -16 (MLK Day Weekend), March 11 - 19 (Spring Break), May 15 - 18 (Final Exams).
The Department of Bison 娱乐 and Wellness exists to "Engage, 鼓励, 教育, and Equip our OBU Bison 社区 towards Christ-like wellness in the areas of physical, 社会, 情感, 精神, and spiritual wellbeing."
This mission is accomplished through the department's three main program areas: Wellness, 娱乐, and Competitive Sports. Bison RecWell provides seamless guest services to OBU Students, 教师, 工作人员, and the Bison community.
Bison 娱乐 and Wellness oversee the RAWC (娱乐 and Wellness Center) which opened its doors in the fall of 2007. 59岁的,500 square foot building includes a full-service fitness center, student leisure recreation lobby, and seating area, 3 full-size hardwood basketball courts, 2 group fitness exercise studios/multipurpose rooms, an elevated track (1/10th mile lap), 29-foot indoor climbing wall, 3 racquetball courts, 淋浴, and locker rooms, 和活动室. The RAWC serves over 2,800 members within the OBU community and hosts multiple sports tournaments and climbing competitions. The 娱乐 and Wellness Center is home to OBU's Intramural and 俱乐部体育 programs and facilitates the use of the OBU intramural fields and outdoor sand volleyball courts.
